"Mom is in the hospital !!!" We, her children, started booking our flights back home. Norma left much earlier, as she wished and prayed to see mom alive. Then each one of us arrived each day.

We all gathered around mom. Her mind was still alert. She recognized us all and tried hard to burst some smiles. Then she closed her eyes to rest.

Twice a day she got her pain killer and when necessary an extra needle to ease the pain ...

We all watched death helplessly. Each one of us, her children, bade goodbyes individually; all in tears, crying and sobbing. We knew mom was listening to each one of us.

She took one deep breath and held it ... then gone, with all eyes closed and her lips together with a smile on her face, as if saying, "Children, I leave you behind with one big smile !!!" We believe she is happy and proud for all of us her children.
